(ghastly) Photoshop Phacial Abuse of the Week: Virgin Radio.

(click ads, via) Double yikes. This digital facial aging thing is becoming an old ad trick quickly. Just one recent example: Woolite digitally aged hippies to sell its gentle cleaning properties. But these altered zombie faces are ghastly, especially the girl. The posters are currently up in France, including all over Bordeaux, according to tipster Josh. Might as well have stuck Virgin CEO Sir Richard Branson's head on the sk8tr boy.
What makes this campaign even wronger is that, according to Wikipedia, the stations of the Virgin Radio France network play mostly very un-fresh "Hot Adult Contemporary" music. Kidz dig that sound. Previously in: Photoshop Phacial Abuse.

It would be a lot more interesting and clever to have young people partaking in some "old people" activities in the ads (and no, I don't mean crochet or some such obvious shit).

But why stage the photoshoot when some shlub can drag some digital shit around faces for a half hour? And be sure to add a big fuckin' headline for those poor morons among us.
